The JPC: the Lightest
JPC stands for Jumpable Plate Carrier: a minimalist plate carrier originally designed to be worn during parachute jumps. It is limited to two panels and a belt, which leaves the arms and sides free. It is the favourite format in speedsoft and CQB.

Our JPC in coated (waterproof) 800D Oxford comes with 2 EVA foam plates, adjusts from 90 to 120 cm and costs €48.99 in black, Green Army, Multicam or tan. Its MOLLE space is smaller: for a day with a lot of kit, move up to a 6094 or a K19.
The 6094 and the K19: More Carrying Capacity
The 6094 adds removable side panels covered in MOLLE: radio, pistol magazines or a medical pouch go there without loading the front. It is made of 1000D Oxford and weighs a stated 1.55 kg, in ATFG, Multicam, black, Green Army or tan.
The K19 comes in two versions. The "French army" K19 (€96.99) takes S, M or L plates. The K19 with side plate pockets (€107.99, €160.99 in Multicam) adjusts from 80 to 120 cm and adds an admin pouch. Both have a quick-release system and laser-cut MOLLE, flatter than stitched webbing.
The Crye AVS: the Premium Replica
The AVS (Adaptive Vest System) by Crye Precision is one of the plate carriers most worn by special units. Our 500D nylon replica has a quick-release cummerbund and EVA foam plates included. All the details are in our article Crye AVS airsoft vest.
Dummy Plates
In airsoft, plates give the vest its shape and keep pouches flat. They are made of EVA foam or light plastic, not ballistic material. The JPC and AVS come with their foam plates; for the others, choose dummy plates sized to the vest's plate pockets. Avoid real plates: they weigh several kilos and add nothing to the game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which airsoft plate carrier should a beginner choose?
The JPC at €48.99: 1.2 kg stated, MOLLE front and back, adjustable from 90 to 120 cm, with 2 EVA foam plates included.
What is the difference between a JPC and an AVS?
The JPC is a light, minimalist plate carrier. The AVS is more complete, with a quick-release cummerbund and MOLLE over the whole surface, for an operator look; our replica costs from €218.99 against €48.99 for the JPC.
Are plates included with the plate carriers?
With the JPC (2 EVA plates of 25 × 30 cm) and the Crye AVS (EVA foam plates). For the other models, check the product page.
What is quick release for?
It lets you open and remove the vest in one movement. Both our K19s have it; on the K19 with side plate pockets, it works with a tube system.
Does an airsoft plate carrier protect against bullets?
No. Replicas and their foam plates soften BB hits on the torso, but do not protect against firearms.
