The FAST Helmet: the Most Versatile
FAST stands for Future Assault Shell Technology. It is the high cut of modern special forces: the ears stay free for a headset, and the side rails take a light, a camera or a visor. It is now the most common cut on airsoft fields.
The FMA FAST AF-01 is made of ABS, adjusts from 52 to 64 cm and costs €73.99 in black, tan, Green Army or grey, €96.99 in Multicam or Black Multicam. It is the base of our GIGN helmet with the GIGN/SWAT visor.
Fitting Accessories to a FAST

The MICH 2001 Helmet: the US Military Look
MICH stands for Modular Integrated Communications Helmet: the combat helmet of the US Army in the 2000s. Its shell comes down lower over the temples and ears than a FAST; the Marines' ECH variant keeps that silhouette. It covers more, but leaves less room for a thick headset.
Our MICH 2001 USMC ECH HC is stated to have a fibre shell, ARC rails, an NVG mount and velcro panels, in Ranger Green, at €165.99. So it takes a light and a visor just like a FAST. It is the helmet for US milsim loadouts and Marines outfits.
The Caiman Helmet: the Lightest
The Caiman copies the helmet made by Galvion. Its cut is high like a FAST, with a more recent silhouette. Our version is stated at 520 g, less than half the stated weight of the FAST AF-01: over a day of play, your neck feels it.
