Q2 — Which BBs should be used with the PPS 6.01 mm 97 mm stainless steel barrel?
A 6.01 mm bore requires premium quality BBs, with a tolerance of at least ±0.01 mm (0.25 g to 0.30 g recommended). Undersized or poorly spherical BBs cause sloshing in the barrel and degrade accuracy. BDU recommends 0.28 g BBs for optimal range/backspin balance with the SLONG 60° hop-up bucking.

Q3 — Is the Hammer Kit TTI compatible with the standard AAP-01 magazine and long-capacity magazines?
Yes. The Hammer Kit TTI remains fully compatible with the standard Action Army magazine valve and third-party extended-capacity magazines (such as the AAP-01 50-round type). The hammer's reduced mass does not affect the gas valve's strike travel—it only reduces the striking group's inertia, accelerating the cycle and minimizing cooldown.

Gas blowback (GBB) airsoft guns suffer from gas pressure drops below 10°C. A 150% nozzle spring and a 200% recoil spring partially compensate for this loss by maintaining bolt kinematics within viable operating ranges down to 5–7°C. The return to battery remains crisp, the sear engages correctly, and double-feed incidents caused by an incompletely closed nozzle are eliminated. This is one of the first AAP 01 upgrades recommended before any winter season.
