This custom AAP-01 includes:

  • Mechanical base: Action Army AAP-01C.
  • Upper: CTM Tactical FUKU-2 CNC Silver kit, short cut-out.
  • Body: CTM FUKU-2 Tan nylon frame, Tan grips and release button, CTM Silver upper lock.
  • Barrel: PPS 6.01 mm stainless steel, 97 mm length.
  • Hop-up: TTI Infinity TDC Blue top-adjustable chamber, paired with SLONG 60° bucking.
  • Striker: TTI CNC machined steel hammer kit, COWCOW Trigger Type A Blue.
  • Pneumatics: 150% nozzle spring and 200% recoil spring.

Performance designed for close-quarters play

The 150% and 200% springs shorten the slide cycle for reactive shooting, while the TDC system maintains a straight trajectory even at high rates of fire. The lightweight assembly limits inertia and facilitates quick transitions from one target to another.

Assembling a custom AAP-01 requires strict tolerances: Custom Lab BDU performs the TTI steel hammer shimming and TDC block alignment on a test bench. This intervention eliminates design flaws that weaken the original AAP-01and ensures a durable replica.

TTI TDC Hop-up: why top-down adjustment changes everything in CQB

In CQB, the engagement distance changes from 3 to 25 meters in a matter of seconds. The TTI Infinity TDC hop-upchamber is adjusted with a single top screw, without disassembling the slide or opening the weapon: less than ten seconds between two game phases, whereas a classic barrel adjustment takes almost two minutes. Combined with the SLONG 60° bucking, it maintains a flat trajectory, even with 0.28 g BBs.

CTM Advanced Charging Handle: a grip designed for the field

The CTM Advanced charging handleoffers an enlarged gripping surface of approximately 40% and a prominent gripping lip. Under stress or with gloves, cocking remains smooth and snag-free. The blue anodized finish withstands abrasion and maintains its appearance after hundreds of cycles. It is a direct replacement, with no modifications to the slide.

Reinforced nozzle and recoil springs: stable performance in cold weather

GBB replicas lose pressure below 10°C. A 150% nozzle spring and a 200% recoil springpartially compensate for this drop and keep the slide in a viable operating range down to 5–7°C. The slide return remains crisp, the sear engages correctly, and double-feeds related to a poorly closed nozzle disappear. This is one of the first upgrades to consider before the winter season.
