The Gold Match: Who Is It For?
The Gold Match follows the IPSC-style sport shooting philosophy: accuracy, power and speed. Its lightened slide and frame speed up the cycle and handling, and its fibre optic front sight is easier to see. It is a pleasant base out of the box, with an instantly recognisable look.
The D.O.R.: Designed for a Red Dot

Gas and Care for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capas
Tokyo Marui designs its GBBs for the HFC134a gas sold in Japan. In Europe, green gas is mostly used; it is more powerful, giving sharper recoil but putting more strain on the stock plastic slide and the firing group. In cool weather, pressure drops and recoil weakens. A few simple habits extend the replica's life:
- a drop of silicone oil on the magazine valves regularly;
- a little silicone oil on the slide rails;
- magazines stored with a little gas to keep the seals supple.

All versions make good bases, because the internals are shared. The choice comes down to format (5.1 or 4.3) and the exterior you want.
