Custom Hi-Capa: precision hop-up bucking and inner barrel on a Tokyo Marui base

The custom Hi-CapaSLEEPER is based on a simple observation: on a Hi-Capa, the main factor determining the trajectory is the hop-up bucking and barrel combo. This is where our workshop intervenes first, using a brand-new Tokyo Marui base. The hop-up chamber, internal mechanics, and exterior remain original: the replica retains its standard look, weight, and dimensions.

Why a Tokyo Marui base instead of a clone?

Tokyo Marui factory specifications are consistent from one unit to the next, and most upgrade parts are designed to their measurements. The Marui Hi-Capa buildtherefore starts from known tolerances: the assembly is reproducible, and the final tuning focuses on the trajectory rather than fixing mechanical play.

High-density bucking and precision barrel

The 60° high-density hop-up bucking gives the BB a more consistent spin than the stock bucking. The 6.03 mm precision barrelmade of polished brass takes over: a uniform bore and a refined surface finish limit deviations from one shot to the next. Both parts are installed together, then the replica is tuned and tested with a chronograph.

What the SLEEPER does not change

The SLEEPER does not touch the hop-up chamber, nozzle, springs, or trigger. The SLEEPER PLUS adds a CNC hop-up chamber, reinforced nozzle and springs, an adjustable trigger, and textured grips. The SLEEPER PRO goes as far as a reinforced hammer, recoil spring guide, and HPA tapping via an M4 magazine.

Baseline: Tokyo Marui hi-capa

Firing line: 60° hop-up bucking

The 60° high-density hop-up buckingis the first part that changes the behavior of the BB. Its contact lip applies the spin effect more consistently than a stock bucking, and its density makes it less sensitive to wear and temperature fluctuations. It is the upgrade that has the greatest impact on trajectory for the lowest cost, provided it is installed properly and adjusted for the BB weight used.

Constance: 6.03 precision barrel

The 6.03 mm polished brass precision barrelcompletes the hop-up bucking. Its regular bore guides the BB smoothly and limits shot-to-shot deviations. Installed alone, a precision barrel offers little: it is the combination of bucking, barrel, and adjustment that makes the difference. This is why the workshop installs both parts together, adjusts the hop-up, and then tests the replica with a chronograph before shipping.

Custom Lab F.A.Q.

Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the project. Generally, allow 2 to 4 weeks for a standard pre-built replica, and up to 6 weeks for a full conversion with custom modifications.

Yes, we ship throughout Europe. Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your destination. Standard delivery time: 3-7 business days after dispatch.

On new replicas only, never refurbished: Action Army for AAP-01s, Tokyo Marui for Hi-Capas. Each build is assembled, tuned, and chronographed before shipping.

All original parts removed during the conversion will be returned to you upon request, in addition to your replica, carefully packaged and labeled.
