The exact mechanism of fogging
Fog forms when warm, moist air comes into contact with a surface colder than its dew point. Under an airsoft mask, this warm, moist air is your own breath and the sweat from your face. The visor, meanwhile, remains colder because it's exposed to the outside air. The result: water vapor instantly condenses upon contact with the plastic or polycarbonate, forming that white film that blinds you in the middle of the action.
